H-1B visa is a nonimmigrant visa issued by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to noncitizens who hold bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
As per the USCIS announced registration process, Employers who wish to file for an H1B cap subject petition for FY2021 will need to first
electronically register and pay $10 registration fee. The registration process will require basic information about the employer and each beneficiary.

- Step 2: Registration of H1B Applicants.
- Step 3 : H1B Lottery Process.
- Step 4: Notify Selected Registrants.
- Step 5: File H1B Petitions with USCIS.
- Step 6: USCIS Processing.
Important Dates for H1B Registration Process for this season (financial year 2021)
- February 24th, 10 AM, EST, 2020: Employers can create H1B registrant accounts
- March 1st, Noon EST, 2020 : Employer can start to submit H1B Registrations
- March 20th , Noon EST, 2020: H1B Registration period ends.
- March 31st, 2020: H1B Lottery/ Selection Results Deadline (can come before).
- April 1st, 2020: USCIS accepts H1B petition with LCA, full info for FY 2021
- June 30th, 2020: 90 Days deadline ends for filing of H1B petitions for FY 2021
